In this cartographic production area, data about the Earth, such as elevation, rivers, roads, and land use, are collected, verified, and made available to the public using advanced computer hardware and software.  These data include the National Hydrography Dataset, the National Land Cover Dataset, the National Elevation Dataset, Digital Line Graphs, Digital Elevation Models, and Digital Orthophotoquads.
